Born in 1992 Jessica is a creative from Flint, MI. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan- Flint with a B.S. in Theatre Design and Technology specializing in Theatrical Scenic Painting with a minor in Art History. She has had the pleasure of working professionally in live theatre for seven years. In that time she has worked off Broadway, in New York with Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, on productions such as CATS, Singing in the Rain and Legally Blonde, outdoors in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky as a resident Artist with Jenny Wiley Theatre and locally with the Flint Repertory Theatre painting and conducting youth programs inspiring future generations of Artists. She designed a show in Chicago and has taken up any opportunity to go where life takes her to create in between. She paints with the mindful intention of her work instilling curiosity, providing a sense of happiness/comfort and sparking engagement that will bring us all a little closer together. Where words fail, art speaks. Her greatest influences are artists such as Alphonse Mucha, Keith Haring, Marc Chagall, Yayoi Kusama, Hokusai and Peter Max. It is her dream to combine her deep admiration for the traditional craftsmanship of Japan to paint/help restore murals of Mount Fuji in the bathhouses of Japan. Namaste.
